A Dream Come True - Block 14 - Betty

Betty war diese Woche mein Favorit. Aus zweierlei Hinsicht. Passend zum Titel des Briefes ' A Dream Come True' konnte ich endlich die Madonnen verwenden. Die sind so schön kitschig und meiner Meinung nach absolut passend zum Thema.

Betty was my favorite this week. For two reasons. In keeping with the title of the letter 'A Dream Come True' I could finally use the Madonnas. In my opinion they are soooo cheesy, absolutely fitting to the theme.

'A Dream Come True' passt allerdings auch sehr gut zu meiner derzeitigen Freiwilligenarbeit, die ich seit zwei Wochen mache. 

Österreich und andere Länder Europas sind derzeit Ziel eines Flüchtlingsstroms aus Syrien, Afghanistan, Irak, .... 

Die Medien sind voll zu diesem Thema - ich will mich dazu hier gar nicht weiter äußern. 

Tatsache ist, dass eben viele dieser Menschen ein zu Hause (Asyl) in Österreich suchen. Und genau dabei bin ich ihnen behilflich. 

Damit auch sie eines Tages sagen können - A Dream Came True - und wieder gefahrlos und in Frieden leben können.

But 'A Dream Come True' also fits very well with my current volunteering of the past two weeks.

Austria and other European countries are currently dealing with a flood of refugees from Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, ... The media are full on this issue - I do not want to say more about that on here.

Fact is that many of these people are seeking for asylum in Austria. This is exactly where I am helping them.

So that they can one day say - A Dream Came True - and can live again fearless and in peace.
