Aviatrix Medallion from Center to Border 2

Es ist soweit - ich nähe meinen ersten Quilt. Dazu mache ich bei  einem Quilt-a-Long QAL mit, der von Linden Vines aus Canberra gehostet wird. 
Warum ich bei einem australischen QAL mitmache? Tja - ein Teil meiner Familie lebt in diesem wunderschönen Teil der Welt und auf diese Art und Weise bin ich ihm in der nächsten Zeit ein wenig näher.

The time has come - I sew my first quilt. Therfore I joined a quilt-a-Long QAL hosted by Linden Vines from Canberra. 

Why I participate in an Australian QAL? Well - part of my family lives in this beautiful part of the world and in this way I'm a little closer to them in the near future.

Nachdem die Farbgruppen angeordnet waren, ging es zum Zuschneiden. Das dauert nicht nur lang, das will auch gut sortiert werden. Frühstückssackerln helfen perfekt beim Ordnung halten.

After the color groups were arranged, I went to cutting. This takes not only long, it needs also to be well sorted. Plastic bags help keep perfectly in order.

Schwalben / Swallows 

Nach dem pitzeligen Center Block sind Border 1 und 2 richtig angenehme Selbstläufer. Der Quilt wächst ziemlich schnell und bald werde ich mir einen guten Platz für weitere Fotos suchen müssen.

Border 1 and 2 are really pleasant self-perpetuating compared to the fuzzy Center Block. However, the quilt is growing pretty fast and soon I will have to find a good place for more photos.
